“This is a major milestone for the program as our growth continues and a unique opportunity for our brand to become synonymous with the message we send to our players” |
JH1 Elite Wisconsin has unveiled a new name, new logo and new website as part of an extensive rebranding initiative.
Milwaukee, WI January 3, 2022
JH1 Elite Wisconsin, one of the Midwest’s most prestigious grassroots basketball programs, has completed an extensive rebranding effort in response to accelerated growth and a renewal of its overall vision. At the heart of this rebranding is a change of the program name to MTXE – which stands for “Mental Toughness Xtra Effort” – and an update of the logo.
Over the past three years, MTXE has cemented its status as Wisconsin’s leading independent grassroots basket program. It has experienced 450% growth and now includes over 110 players. This growth reflects the increasing recognition of parents and players that AAU basketball, when done correctly, can lead to positive development for players and great competition.
“This is a major milestone for the program as our growth continues and a unique opportunity for our brand to become synonymous with the message we send to our players” said Jeremy McGlothlin, Executive Director, MTXE, adding, “This new brand and evolving positioning illustrates our growing ambition in the market and for our kids.”
Operationally, the teams will remain similar to last year and plan to participate in the NY2LA circuit at the high school levels. The teams and staff for the 2022 season have already been selected and will remain in place. The team’s new website will be released on January 3, 2022 and can be found at MTXEpremier.com
